From South Beach to Shanghai, from the clubs
of NYC to the beaches of Ibiza, Mike Rizzo
has been there and done just about
everything that DJs aspire to. Throughout
his illustrious career Mike Rizzo has worked
with some of the best in the business. They
are welcoming him back with open arms after
his two year hiatus to be with his family.
“Mike Rizzo is world class. Remixing, Djing
or producing, he is one of the best,” says
Rich Christina of Sony/ATV. Rizzo’s work
with, Justin Timberlake and
Beyonce (“Until The End of
Time”), Britney Spears
(“Break The Ice”), Danity Kane
(“Damaged”) , Usher
(“Moving Mountains”), Laura Pausini
(“Surrender”), Whitney Houston
(“Try It On My Own”), and Luther
Vandross (“I’d Rather”) which is
just a sampling of what this talented
producer/remixer can do. “The best thing
about Mike, besides the fact that he is a
consummate professional, is the fact that
he’s a real producer,” says Anthony Rich
(Manager of A&R at Jive Records). “A lot of
remixers I deal with are simply that. They
just know how to remix tracks from hits.
With Mike you get a complete re-creation and
point of view on hit records.”
Not only does Rizzo Remix, Produce and DJ,
but he also has a popular weekly mixshow
(AREA 51) which airs Friday nights at
Midnight till 2:00 am on NYC’S Pulse Radio
87.7 FM. He also can be heard on XM BPM 81
and AOL Radio. His musical choices for the
show reflect what he plays at clubs. Rizzo
states, “I love the fact that I can break
new music from the states and overseas and
also implement the hottest current songs in
my sets. My club sets differ from what I
play on radio as I like to add a progressive
edge!”

“Mike Rizzo never fails to deliver
radio-friendly, fun upbeat dance remixes for
our label. He understands the demographic we
are trying to reach and never fails to rise
above our expectations.”
Rizzo is glad to be in the spotlight, “I
took a bit of time away in 2006-2007 to
spend time with my family and took a break
to reinvent myself.
This has
been a great year getting back in the remix
game and working on our record label
