Maiden US Tour Underway With Sold Out Shows in Boston and New York City

NEW YORK, NY (May 22, 2008) - Not only is he steadily climbing the charts, 19-year-old JUSTIN NOZUKA is taking down some of music’s best every night in San Diego.  Nozuka’s “After Tonight” has been crowned champ of the weeknight challenge a whopping 16 nights in a row on powerhouse SD radio station Sophie 103.7.  Voted on by fans, Nozuka has held on despite challengers like Coldplay, REM, Gnarls Barkley and John Mayer over the course of his stunning win streak.

Also climbing the charts, Nozuka’s US debut Holly (Glassnote Records) moved up to #27 on the Billboard “Heatseekers” and sits at #62 on the Independent albums chart.  He’s cracked the iTunes Top Albums chart, currently residing at #98, and the Rock albums chart at #19, while “After Tonight” sits at #76 on the Rock singles chart.

A current VH1 “You Oughta Know - Artist on the Rise,” Nozuka kicked off a US tour Tuesday night in Minneapolis that will keep him on the road until the end of June.  He was also recently dubbed by EW as a “most promising male singer-songwriter.
